Soil sampling around Franklin and Pine, Louisiana.

I pull and prepare samples, submit them to a routine soil-testing lab, and return a plain-English report organized by field, block, or bed with the laboratory’s lime and fertilizer recommendations.

I don’t sell fertilizer or amendments, so the report is based only on what your soil calls for. Agricultural lime and fertilizer spreading is available for pastures, hayfields, and wildlife food plots using materials from registered Louisiana dealers. No pesticide applications. Spreading is quoted separately.

Soil-monitoring pricing

$195 first zone

Baseline soil sampling

One collection visit, Routine Soil Analysis + Organic Matter, lab coordination, and the report. Each additional zone at the same property is $45.

$325 first zone

Two-visit soil monitoring

Baseline and follow-up sampling of the same documented management zones, with Routine Soil Analysis + Organic Matter included. Each additional zone is $75.

One management zone is one reasonably uniform growing area—such as one garden, pasture, food plot, lawn, orchard block, or field—represented by one composite laboratory sample.

These prices assume a typical property. Large pastures, several separate fields, or hard-to-reach ground are quoted on acreage, access, and how many separate areas need their own sample. You get the full price in writing before you book.

Baseline sampling: 50% when booked, the balance when your report is delivered.

Two-visit monitoring: 50% when booked, 25% when the baseline report is delivered, 25% when the follow-up visit is scheduled. We set the follow-up date together, in writing, when you book.
